There's no depth in the piece, you need to start cooling things down as they go into the background. As you get further into the background you need make them seem "bluer" or more cool. This link will help you with your color relativity. [link]
Your other major problem with this piece, is your light source is a bit ambiguous. I know it's the sun, but What direction is it coming from, why isn't there a major shadow for the lion? And if it's the Jungle and it's not muggy, you're going to have some strong lighting.
If I were you while coloring pull up pictures from google images or what ever you use for your personal reference... getter, and grab a relevant image to use to capture the atmosphere.
You've got a great start. You just have to remember, your light source is one of the most important parts of coloring.
